Finnting in English — and how do I change the language?
Finnting is available in Norwegian and English. If you are reading this, you are already in English. You can switch back to Norwegian — or save your preference — at any time.
Switch with the flag at the top of the page
Every page has a flag in the top bar showing the next available language. Click 🇳🇴 to switch to Norwegian; click 🇬🇧 to switch back to English. The page reloads in the chosen language, and you can switch back and forth whenever you like.
Save your preference
Without logging in, Finnting remembers your choice for one year via a cookie. If you are logged in, you can save it permanently under Min side → Innstillinger og sikkerhet → Språk (My page → Settings and security → Language) — your preference then follows you across devices.
What is translated — and what is not
The interface — menus, buttons, category names and help texts — is shown in the selected language. Text that users have written themselves (listing titles, descriptions, messages) is shown as the seller entered it, regardless of your language choice.
Available languages
Finnting currently offers Norwegian bokmål and English. More languages may follow as the service grows.
