How to contact the seller
Open the listing and use the Ta kontakt (Get in touch) button (or Meld interesse — Register interest), and you're in a direct conversation with the person who posted the listing.
How to do it
- Open the listing you're interested in.
- Tap Ta kontakt med selger (Contact the seller).
- Write a short, friendly message — ask questions, suggest taking a look, or ask about anything you're wondering.
The seller receives your message and replies directly. You agree price, viewing, collection and payment between yourselves.
Why can't I see the seller's phone number?
To protect privacy, we don't show contact details openly on the listing. All enquiries go through the message button. That makes it harder for bad actors to harvest contact details, and keeps the marketplace tidy for everyone.
Good advice for first contact
- Keep the conversation on Finnting for as long as you can — that way you have everything in one place.
- Be specific: ask about condition, history and what's included.
- Arrange to meet in a public place in daylight.
