How to get your business started
Register your business with its organisation number, set up a company profile, and post your listings — business accounts and advertising are free through 2027.
Who is a business account for?
- Car dealers who want to showcase their whole stock.
- Estate agents who want their portfolio and bidding rounds in one place — see For estate agents.
- Boat dealers and others who sell in volume.
- Other businesses that want to advertise regularly.
How to register
- Choose business registration and enter the business's organisation number. Finnting looks the number up in the Brønnøysund registers (Norway's central business registry) and suggests a business type based on the industry code registered there.
- Set up your company profile in the Bedriftssenteret (Business centre) — add a logo, an "about us", website and address. You can also set a trading name that is shown publicly on listings and your profile (useful if your brand name differs from the legal company name). The legal company name and organisation number are locked to Brønnøysund.
- Start posting listings — manually, or automatically via the API/feed.
If you use Finnting on behalf of a business, you must be authorised to bind it to the terms.
Free through 2027
